Title: The Mulling Factor
Author: Emory W. Mulling
Comment: GOLD AWARD, Extremely Recommended

Emory Mulling breathtakingly takes the readers of The Mulling Factor to a new height of self-awareness in career management and how to avoid misemployment. Written in plain language with wit and actual examples based on two decades of experience in assisting people “find” the right career and work environment, the book offers much more than practical advice.

The assessment alone, which is a major and the most valuable part of this book, is worth every penny of the price. It distills one's work style into one of these four: conformer, implementer, participator and innovator. Whichever yours is, there is a matching supervisory style and work environment in which your career can grow in the best direction possible. The comparison chart of your work style, your best boss and your best environment summarizes the concepts nicely and concisely.

Out of all career management books, I unabashedly recommend The Mulling Factor for its outstanding concepts, exceedingly simple yet highly applicable theories and insightful case studies. One can expect to finish this 178-page hardcover in one sitting and feel refreshed.

I won't be surprised if readers' final comments are any of the followings. “This book justifies how I feel with my job.” “I should have read this book before I accepted this job.” “Now I understand my subordinates better.”
